It’s bad enough that the designers at Apple removed the Backspace key, put the Delete key where the Backspace key normally is, and then gave the Delete key the Backspace key’s functionality (which means you always, always, always have ot put your cursor ahead of what you want to delete, and never, never, never behind it, removing the choice of whatever might be easier). But no End key? Really?
Here’s a really common use case. You’re typing along. You see you just made a typo. You correct it, which leaves the cursor at the corrected word. Now you want to go to where you left off.
But instead of pressing an “End” key, you’re forced to remove your hand from the keyboard and mouse over to the end of the line and click (or, if you haven’t gotten a Bluetooth mouse yet, do the same thing, requiring even more effort, with the trackpad).
I would sacrifice some speaker geometry for an “End” key.
